I will always remember Coleman fondly. I don't fault him leaving for more money, he never led the fan base on, and he even announced his commitment to them later at night so it didn't interfere with the guys who announced they were staying.

Coleman wasn't even a starter. No hard feelings either. Wish he would have stayed, but whatever. Actually kind of hope he does well, but the team does not.

I think it was a thoughtless act, not an intentional troll. He didn't think it through. It can still have the same effect initially but down the road can be forgiven a bit quicker.

I was a very big fan of Prysock. Not anymore.

Coleman did it right. I really really wish we were able to keep him, but wish him well.

I'm glad Brennan has kept the guys he has but not seeing this staff pulling any new transfers/recruits. Hoping they get after it soon. If you can't recruit, you can't have success. It's as simple as that.

Just slim pickings now with only a few schools being allowed to have players in the portal due to coaching changes.

As I have stated previously the UA is never going to be able to compete effectively in this arena against the Top 40 or so programs.

CD, hate to lose those guys but in Tre Smith and the nose guard from Syracuse, we have replaced ALL the lost production from every transfer on defense. Granted we took a depth hit but we have the spring to add players.

I hate to agree with the captain but this time I have to. If you look at this honestly Brennan fucked SJSU. He took their best running back and a couple of other players. Rather than getting worked up with the previouus coach, get worked up with the NCAA and get them to put a governor on this transfer portal thing. A governor on the NIL thing wouldn't be a bad idea either. Obvious is correct its just a new coach doing his job.

Yeah. Lost Edwards, Coleman, and Wiley and replaced them with two transfers who seem to be kinda like Wiley and Edwards, and two young recruits who will probably need a little time. I know Speedy will get a bigger role, but seems like we need a replacement for Coleman.

Only thing I hope is we can retain Tacario Davis. I don't know if it is still possible.

It's good news, even if the stealth recruiting part seems a bit weird. It may just be that they don't have their process fully worked out or some other unique situation, or we may just not see dancing sahuaros as part of announcements anymore. In any event, I think we're pretty close to having the crew we're sailing with on board now. It may or may not be quite up to last year's roster, but I think we've dodged some bullets and we shouldn't need to take three steps backward in order to take two steps forward. Just keep plugging away, guys.

Yeah, I saw those. Strange environment we're in right now. Seems like 90 percent of the time when somebody goes into the portal, they're gone. And, unless it's moving to a lesser school for playing time, it's viewed as quitting on the team, rather than "exploring your options." I suppose this may be a little like when Lute let a good player "test the waters" with NBA experts on likely draft status, which usually worked out in Lute's favor. Davis is good and in a position of need for us, so Brennan may be giving him more latitude in an unusual coaching change situation while NIL negotiations also no doubt continue.

That's why I would say the longer he's in the better it is for us. If he had a great offer to go somewhere else and he wanted to go he would already be gone.

I really hope Tac stays. He's a key component and a damn good player.

But if he's leaving, he's not helping us by hanging around without committing to us and then bailing later.
