Nansen and Akina just accepted jobs already... Don't we think they knew this was coming?

There are a few talking heads advocating against a Nansen or Carroll hire, saying we need to build for the future not just try to keep current players in the fold to run it back next year. But I think running it back next year IS building for the future.

If we can bring in someone who will keep Fifita, TMac, & Manu on board it will show current and future recruits that Arizona is bigger than just one man, and definitely bigger than Jedd Fisch. Letting that turd kill our momentum will relegate us right back to where we were three years ago. Fuck that and fuck him. Let’s keep it going!

I think they left because they saw better relationships and future with Sarkasian…

Scheer says if Nansen were hired, Akina would return too. But he adds that OC’s would need replacing

He has a losing record at Syracuse(78-71 overall). I don't see how that wins the press conference

If we don’t have a coach a week from now we’re probably in a complete rebuild.

So if Carroll’s out to UW, probably best to pull the trigger (today) on Nansen and see what happens.

B Brennan, Carroll

Disappointed but will give it a chance

Agree...this is my thought as well. Do what we can to take a one year run at the conference championship/CFP. After that, we may need to rebuild anyhow. Let's delay it a year or three if possible.

I don't understand the desire for Brennan. He's 34-48 at SJSU. They are a mediocre Mountain West team.

At this point my criteria is no-fired HC retreads and do it fast.

Don’t let this drag out. Pretend there’s a plan.

Heeke brought us Fisch and Lloyd and we got everyone still hating on him because he was extra careful about Miller and the FBI?

Means they are taking the top recruits also. Players will hit the portal as soon as the next coach is named. We are back to where we were before. He a great offensive mind that throws a lot if you want any chance at keeping the mainstays of our offense together. Worried about the offensive line moving on now.

How does a collective have any say over who the coach might be?

To bad we can’t get a binding agreement from the players who say they would likely stay if Nansen was hired
