Michigan fans are the only ones who seem to like Fisch somewhat.

So I asked yesterday how a university president is relieved of his duties but it must have been an unpopular question because it didn't get a response. Is he untouchable unless the AZBOR decides maybe he should go when the last embers finally burn out?

I don't blame Fisch for our President's ineptitude. I wish him luck but I have no clue how he's going to be successful at Arizona.

So my fandom will shift primarily to both our men's and women's bball teams. Also, it looks like our baseball team will be pretty good.
And let's not forget about our kickass softball team.

Can we unring the bell?! If I lived in Tucson, I'd join the protest to unring/unseat Robbins. Complete embarrassment.

One good thing, I can now save money on starting up Sling TV later, which I have been doing lately anyway the last couple of years due to the disaster of Sumlin football.

Who would hire Heeke with his disastrous hires, and lack of balls?
SCLSU? Even that is debatable. He might have to go manage a Golf Course somewhere.

1. He has no balls to stand up for himself, he's a simp

2. He wants to keep making $€£¥¢

3. No one would hire him with this terrible track record of hiring

I bleed Wildcat Blue and Red, but, I cannot get behind this hire at all. Christmas has been ruined along with any hopes of the football program ever becoming relevant on a regional or national level again. Hell even prep football programs will be laughing at this hire for years to come. I never thought I would say this in my 45 years of support for UofA football...

R.I.P UofA football. I never waivered in my support when times were lean. I had faith that things would get better. Eventually they did. When times were good, I soaked them up and I will always cherish them. Now the time has come to say good luck and farewell. I am not willing to follow you down the dark and dreary road you are about to journey down. I'd rather consider supporting your arch-enemy than suffer through the pain you are about to stumble into.

You are officially dead to me.

I was not in favor any of our former players taking over as HC..... but NONE of them (including Cason) would be any riskier that this dude we hired plus all would have the community and alumni behind them from day 1.

This is just beyond stupid

Sad when rehiring the 2nd worst coach in the last 40 years is almost palatable to this. Get our 7.5 million back. Lol

I'm sure the booster who ponied up that money is just thrilled he invested in this.

I wouldn't watch college basketball or college football if I wasn't rooting for my school.

It's just incredibly boring imo.

Guess I'll continue not watching cfb and continue to rage against Miller's continual fetishization and marriage to the concept of playing twin towers.

I'm pushing my daughter to go to UCLA or Washington.

Because f*ck my alma mater, and what it has become. This is like having a boss with extremely bad dementia. This was an existential test of Arizona football, and a peripheral party forced failure.

Same here, I used to watch college football all day Saturday, and NFL all day Sunday, along with a lot of NCAA basketball.

Now it's just the UA, and only make a point now for UA basketball.

At least Pierce was able to play ASU into a raise. Nice work!

It appears that only 5-10% of fans are willing to give it a chance and the other 90-95% is pissed. I’m seeing zero excitement. And I mean none. Has that combination ever worked. Next year season ticket numbers will be really bad.

Brennan was such an easy hire. Everyone was onboard and happy.

I can’t wait for that huge buy out because he’s friends with Robbins. Does Robbin get a cut?

I called the AZ Board of Regents and was told the best way to share your opinion is to leave a written message @ https://azregents.edu/contact-us

That's exactly what I did. Before I write off U of A football, we owe it to our school to try and fix the problem. The U of A is held hostage by Robbins and he's got to go along with rescinding Fisch's contract. Also, ideally, we should replace them with highly competent alumni.

What was all that shit Heeke said in the presser a few days ago about getting someone that understood our tradition and that would stick around? 12 jobs in 22 years?
No HC experience? Does Fisch have any ties at all to us besides being Robbins buddy?

If this is true and he's our guy, im pulling for him and our program, but jeez.

Thank you for the link. I sent them an email also telling them, among other things, that I wont be renewing my season tickets after 12 years and won’t be donating anything to the University until both Robbins and Fisch are gone.

The worst thing about this hire is the sheer lack of vision. Lets say Fisch actually is a good coach, it won't matter. He is inheriting a complete shit show and it is gonna take him at least 3 to 4 years to get it going. Being that the fan and alumni support for this hire is nil, good luck getting those 3rd and 4th years to build. If Fisch goes 1-11 and 2-10 in years 1 and 2 it's a wrap. Robbins is a complete boob.
