Who the hell knows but this looks like a REALLY bad hire. Given the choice between UA giving Rodriguez a lifetime contract or hiring Herm Edwards, I would choice the former 10 out of 10 times and I was ready for Rodriguez to go.

Anyone with a pulse as head coach is going to post a respectable record for ASU. The coordinators are still in place and ASU has decent talent, especially with a senior QB returning next season. But they're gonna miss N'Keal Harry next season, assuming he goes pro. He bailed them out of a lot bad throws simply because he was the best player on the field. A receiver like that can make Manny Wilkins look awfully good.
ASU better hope they get out of the gate early next year and don't stub their toe in a game they should win. The fanbase is irritated right now after Graham's firing. Attendance was tepid. The only thing that would immediately ignite the fanbase is a 1 or 2 loss season. And that's a tough thing to do considering ASU's current talent level and the amount of competition in the Pac 12.

N'Keal Harry is a true Soph I believe and if so, he can't go pro.

If you would have told me that that presser with Edwards was a SNL skit, I would have believe you. That was the biggest L in a press conference I have ever seen/heard.
And what is up with all the pro sports talk and bringing in the guys agent to talk?

This is hard for me bc I don't like ASU but I like Herm Edwards. That response is a great example of why I like Herm Edwards. It genuinely seems like he doesn't know the mascot, and there's a "don't you put that evil on me, Ricky Bobby" edge to his response.
I don't think he cares at all, which is awesome. I'm so conflicted right now.

If Graham wins coach of the year does he earn a bonus?

And the exodus starts. When Herm starts losing coaches, he has no pipeline and no real knowledge of the who's who of college coaching staffs.

What a shit show!! Recruiting class in freefall, cue some transfers.
ASU should fire Anderson and hire Sumlin today!

So....ASU hired Herm to come is as CEO to retain the staffs in place and then both the DC and OC both leave within a week or so.
Sounds like a great CEO - give him the raise he deserves.

So, the guy they wanted gone is coaching the bowl game and the two guys they wanted to stay will not be at the bowl game. Well played ASSu.

Antonio Pierce is the head coach at Long Beach Polytech so they are merely trying to establish pipeline. Several players have decommitted so it's not a bad idea.

I may totally be making this memory up, but I swear that when he played on MNF and they did the player introductions, Pierce would say Mt. San Antonio junior college.

Not fiction. I recall that episode too.
