So now that we have a full arsenal of assistants, maybe we can start with the recruiting. Just maybe...

Stoked on this coaching staff. Dudes who could find a lot of good jobs in the basketball world and they've chosen to be here because they believe in the opportunity in Tucson. Feels good.

Just want to drop a note on something I heard from Tommy in his Michigan post-game, that he gave a lot of credit to Ricardo Fois for scouting Michigan and coming up with the game plan to beat them. We've got some GOOD coaches on the bench this season.

I always watch the bench to see who is talking to who especially during timeouts (usually Fois to the big men, Robinson to the guards, and Murphy to Lloyd), but you know who I never see talking to anyone? Jason Gardner. You would think he’d be in Kriisa’s ear the whole game but I haven’t seen him talk to literally anyone. I wonder what his role is on the staff and how he’s involved behind the scenes and in practices and film study.

He is not an official assistant. He is in the role of alumni director reconnecting the past players to the program. Not sure that excludes him from talking to the guys on the sideline or not and the only thing I know he can’t do is recruit

Remember when the Pete Rose guy was coach? Pennel (sp).
Didn’t the staff get in trouble because Pennel’s dad started talking during timeouts? He wasn’t an official coach so he wasn’t allowed to address team during timeouts, or something like that.

Ahh, didn’t realize that it might be the case that there are rules not allowing him to talk during games. Which is kind of weird, but then again this is the NCAA we are talking about.

With Robinson rumored to be retiring, who do we want to replace him?
