Younger brother of the Bama kid? That'd be big.
The entire family up and moved from Hawaii to Alabama. I don't see him going anywhere other than Alabama.

With Saban's QB history, I don't see why he would go to Bama. To reach the NFL, he'd be better off at another school. Tua was recruited by Lane Kiffin too, so it will be interesting to see how that situation is handled going forward.

ASU pulled a scholarship offer from a 6-5 310 LB Hamilton HS OL commit because he bypassed signing early to visit UCLA. It doesn't look like the Bruins offered but in ASU's defense he's clearly using the Sun Devils offer as a placeholder until a bigger name comes looking. If Chip Kelly isn't going to offer maybe given the timing of the fallout and momentum of hiring Sumlin we're in position to capitalize? He does the have frame to contribute.

Apparently not, he didn't play and left school in December when he was busted for weed.

Johnson, the son of former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson, is expected to be eligible for the 2018 season. The younger Johnson participated in spring practice at Nebraska last year but was cited in June for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He left school and announced in December that he would transfer.

Sumlin is supposed to do an at home visit today with OL Jarret Bell. Cristobal and Kelly also visiting him today. Big disadvantage for Sumlin. Bell i am sure has met the O-line coaches at every school in play. Sumlin might not even be able to tell Bell who the next O-line coach is at UA. Oh well.

Not a big deal at all.

CU is actually University of Colorado
KU is actually University of Kansas
OU is actually University of Oklahoma

He’s a ballhawk and a hitter. Hits hard and has a nose for the ball. Good frame, size, and speed.
Any feel for where he ends up? CB's say Arizona, but visiting UCLA on the 19th

I think he’s leaning UCLA.

Just watched. His mom look legit concerned he picked ASU lol. But that's not a real big surprise, congrats to him and his fam.

Side note: he posted that tweet in the all white UCLA icy jersey... Those things are awesome. So clean.

I don't think Sumlin even called him, focus was on another available Safety/LB from Texas.

He's a quiet guy with a new wife and son that lives in the Phoenix area. While he was here he played through an assortment of injuries. Some of which he still has today. He last played with the LA Express. He self medicates b/c of pain and enjoys tats, so teams tend to shy away from him. I don't look at him as a bust, just a guy that looks at life differently. He also had a high GPA 3.8+

Can’t find anything about him being in prison... so that doesn’t seem accurate. He was undrafted and was picked up by the Niners. Was on the practice squad there and TB, then played indoor for a bit.

Typically most (not all) punter offers are preferred walk on with the promise of a scholarship down the line.
