Anyone heard anything about Terry? There's a rumor going around.

There's obviously still a bit to go, but KY is pretty thin in the backcourt right now. If Davion Mintz doesn't return, they basically have two guys.BeardownZonaZona wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 11:55 amI believe Kentucky already has Hickman, another 5 star pg, and Kansas brought in a really transfer pg or two, plus another guy or two on their roster can play the point. Would think he'd have the most minutes and best opportunity to play big minutes hereBeachcat97 wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 11:42 amHaven't looked at KU and UK's rosters, but I would still think Tyty has a better chance for big minutes right away with us.ChooChooCat wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 10:39 amHe was never going there anyways.Irish27 wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 10:37 am With Akinjo going to Baylor, looks like TyTy won't be going there.
It’s Arizona, Kansas, or Kentucky.
Apparently better chance he comes back now that Akinjo is gone, even if it's small.Beachcat97 wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 11:58 am Anyone heard anything about Terry? There's a rumor going around.
Not a done deal, but it’s majorly progressing to him staying.Beachcat97 wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 11:58 am Anyone heard anything about Terry? There's a rumor going around.
UK has numerous PG options and probably will have a couple more not named Tyty before the month is up.Spaceman Spiff wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 12:04 pmThere's obviously still a bit to go, but KY is pretty thin in the backcourt right now. It’s Arizona, Kansas, or Kentucky.

Kansas is a little deeper, but not with the kind of talent that means Tyty would automatically sit. He would project to a decent role all 3 places, atleast right now, although Arizona has the largest chance for him to be the backcourt leader instead of just a rotation guy, for better or worse.
Really happy to hear that, Choo -- thanks.ChooChooCat wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 12:30 pmNot a done deal, but it’s majorly progressing to him staying.Beachcat97 wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 11:58 am Anyone heard anything about Terry? There's a rumor going around.
I worry more about the NBA than I do a transfer with Benn. No news is good news though.Beachcat97 wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 1:11 pmReally happy to hear that, Choo -- thanks.ChooChooCat wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 12:30 pmNot a done deal, but it’s majorly progressing to him staying.Beachcat97 wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 11:58 am Anyone heard anything about Terry? Any feeling on Mathurin one way or the other? I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that his decision will greatly impact next season's prospects.
Akinjo repeatedly accused him of having two first names. When Jemarl Baker was here, that deflected some of the pressure from Dalen, but with Baker gone, it all fell on Terry's shoulders.
This helpful background should be available everywhere. Why do have to lug my finger across the tracking pad every day to click on this site to find the truth?Spaceman Spiff wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 1:43 pmAkinjo repeatedly accused him of having two first names. Ultimately, Akinjo transferred because he couldn't stomach an adult named Tommy. Akinjo's a very good player, but oddly fixated on names. Baylor had to conceal the fact their coach is named Scott Drew in order to land him.
These are the posts that are perfect for a Friday afternoon before I head off to the bar after a long week.Longhorned wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 1:46 pmThis helpful background should be available everywhere. Way ahead of you.

That’s a name and a verb.Spaceman Spiff wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 1:43 pmAkinjo repeatedly accused him of having two first names. When Jemarl Baker was here, that deflected some of the pressure from Dalen, but with Baker gone, it all fell on Terry's shoulders.

Dang. Just when I thought my plan of throwing out high volume crazy theories was paying off.ChooChooCat wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 2:29 pm Lol there was nothing personal with any guy and Akinjo. They all got along with the guy, but needless to say his style of play is a bit hard to get along with. Akinjo leaving is a plus in regards to keeping this roster together if we’re being honest.
I feel like it’s happening....but now I don’t want to wait until November to watch this team....IndianaZonaFan wrote: Tue Apr 20, 2021 7:31 am Wishlist for this year’s team:
Tier 1 (solidify 4 starting spots)
Get Kerr back
Keep Benn
Keep Tubelis
Add Tyty
Tier 2
Keep JET
Keep Nowell
Keep Dalen
Keep Koloko
Keep Brown
Tier 3
Add a sharp shooter (if everything above happens...we would need to lose one of: Aiken, Gorener, Dezonie)
He's going to look so good in a Tommy Lloyd offense with his off ball movement and shooting ability. Finishing school before turning pro.
Please choose your words more wisely. This confused my small brain for a minute and thought you meant he will finish school before he turns pro...I would bust a proverbial basketball nut.YoDeFoe wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 5:57 pmHe's going to look so good in a Tommy Lloyd offense with his off ball movement and shooting ability. I’m typing this from Zihautanejo...
Get busy livin' .....
Have we heard anything from Tuberlis? Or is it assumed he is back?
Ugh. How do I embed a gif?
Host it on an image hosting site like imgur.com and get the direct link to the picture. Put that between the [/img][img] tags. Make sure it ends in .gif (as opposed to .gifv).
Yes he’s back. I wouldn’t expect any more transfer outs. The only questions are what we do with the final two scholarships (One is 100% going to our next starting PG) and what we do with the two incoming freshmen.billk78 wrote: Fri Apr 23, 2021 6:40 pmHave we heard anything from Tuberlis? Confirmed?
Mike Luke said it on Twitter then Scheer somewhat confirmed it on TOS. He did say a couple weeks ago I think that he wanted to go on a couple unofficial visits to some schools but we're the only one I've seen. He wants to announce by the end of the month. Very good sign if he did check the campus out, because he's already been on campus a couple times the past year or so. He's already seen everything so it's good he's going againBeachcat97 wrote: Sat Apr 24, 2021 9:23 amConfirmed?
Haven’t heard anything about him visiting his other finalists, so if this is legit, think we’re right where we wanna be with Tyty.
I miss '97's "where we wanna be" posts. Those were like money in the bank.
