I tried saying that on the main rivals basketball board but Kansas fans scoffed.Chicat wrote:I see a Greg Oden-like career arc for Joel.
Saw your tweet to Forde. Awesome!JMarkJohns wrote:I'd say the article is a knee-jerk reaction, but the perception - reality, really - is it's a jerk reaction.
It's all Metcalf is good for.
Gonzaga barely got beat by a better team playing in a home environment where they seldom lose. They got shut-down, and outside of missing those late FTs, gave it their all. They just had no legs left. That's Arizona, not Gonzaga.
Metcalf, Forde, most media are douche-nozzles.

Metcalf, Forde, most media are douche-nozzles.Asshat responded in defensive jerk fashion, then ran when confronted with facts and questions on his authority, ability to even make such an initial statement.
There's no evidence for that. They are 2-17 vs. Top 10 teams since 2004. Gonzaga just doesn't know how to ever win big games outside of the wcc.Beachcat97 wrote:Gonzaga is absolutely a top 10 team, and will do well in the tourney. Hard to come out of today's game with a different opinion.
He never responded after that, but I continued...UAEebs86 wrote:JMarkJohns wrote:Which one?UAEebs86 wrote:Saw your tweet to Forde. Awesome!JMarkJohns wrote:I'd say the article is a knee-jerk reaction, but the perception - reality, really - is it's a jerk reaction.

I saw the one about sticking to football.
I'm of the same line of thought... Asshole committee will rematch SDSU in Sweet 16 and Gonzaga in Elite 8. Really lame...cats101 wrote:They'll be in the WEST bracket for sure.
Since we are all in separate conferences, it makes it much more likely as long as they keep dominating their conferences. There's a rule about conference teams not meeting until the regional semis, or something like that, which usually causes the lower seeded teams from the PAC-12 to get shipped out, but not them.ASUHATER! wrote:Are we doomed to play sdsu and gonzaga in the tournament every year since there are so few good teams out west that would actually stay in the bracket?
Very good chance Arizona, Gonzaga and SDSU will all be at Staples Center in the tournament.ASUHATER! wrote:Are we doomed to play sdsu and gonzaga in the tournament every year since there are so few good teams out west that would actually stay in the bracket?
