The Adversity of Arizona
You guys just keep finding ways to win. This time it was foul trouble and a highly motivated opponent. Congrats on the tourney win.
Right where I want to be.
Re: The Adversity of Arizona
Yep they fought through it all these past few days. This team is real good.

You should have added worn out because DMJ said we were

According to SDSU fans they "lost" the game more than won it. Looks like Arizona got lucky again!!

And the team that scored 1 basket in 9 minutes was wearing us downazcat49 wrote:You should have added worn out because DMJ said we were

Grind it out Pittsburgh toughness. It won't be pretty, but it gets the job done.

I don't think anyone will try to make us play "ugly" anymore. Seems to be right in these Cats' wheel house.AZCatGirl wrote:Grind it out Pittsburgh toughness. It won't be pretty, but it gets the job done.

Re: The Adversity of Arizona
Because we have lost a grand total of 1 game in the tourney to a lower seeded (1 vs 2) team?ASUHATER! wrote:Always find ways to win. Unless it's the post season
Re: The Adversity of Arizona
Miller has this program rolling so well...the players are so talented and they attack pretty relentlessly for 40 minutes. We will either roll the opposition or if a talented team decides they want to battle as well for 40 consecutive minutes we can also grind down and win. We're either winning big or winning close, sometimes losing close, and never losing big. I don't know what else we can expect from Miller.

Re: The Adversity of Arizona
I wonder how many times in a row we have to beat SDSU to be "good".
Re: The Adversity of Arizona
Reading the box score, you'd think we lost. Shot worse. Outrebounded. Happily we made our free throws!

I really liked the announcer's (Fran Frachilla?) observation: "Arizona "is comfortable being uncomfortable"...
