Thanks Merk. Drives me nuts when I note something on a website and link it in my post, but website changes before most people can see what I posted about.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Wow, that is overly harsh on Gonzaga. They're a damn good team who lost the third ranked team in the country. Why in the world would anyone be down on them after they nearly beat us? Hell, they were the better team for large portions of the game.
“The reality is that the hardest games to win are over teams on their home court. Teams that don’t play those games can spin it however they want, but what they’re saying is, ‘We don’t want to lose in our non conference season.’" - Sean Miller
I'd say the article is a knee-jerk reaction, but the perception - reality, really - is it's a jerk reaction.
It's all Metcalf is good for.
Gonzaga barely got beat by a better team playing in a home environment where they seldom lose. They got shut-down, and outside of missing those late FTs, gave it their all. They just had no legs left. That's Arizona, not Gonzaga.

Metcalf, Forde, most media are douche-nozzles.
Saw your tweet to Forde. Awesome!
Which one? Asshat responded in defensive jerk fashion, then ran when confronted with facts and questions on his authority, ability to even make such an initial statement.

I saw the one about sticking to football.
He never responded after that, but I continued...
Which, of course, if you look, his previous six tweets prior to above were all about the ongoing/upcoming Conference Championship games, then his post, then response to my post, then dozens of football posts...
Are we doomed to play sdsu and gonzaga in the tournament every year since there are so few good teams out west that would actually stay in the bracket?
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.

Since we are all in separate conferences, it makes it much more likely as long as they keep dominating their conferences. There's a rule about conference teams not meeting until the regional semis, or something like that, which usually causes the lower seeded teams from the PAC-12 to get shipped out, but not them.

Very good chance Arizona, Gonzaga and SDSU will all be at Staples Center in the tournament.
