Washington game
This place used to be TOUGH to play at. As usual, wherever we play the opposing team has an "(insert color) Out"

But if you read those comments on their twitter feed; their fans don't expect much. Perfect game for us to get back in a groove.

Right where I want to be.
Re: Washington game
We need a fucking sweep this weekend.
Re: Washington game
should be a nice test for our guys. with upshaw and jarreau out, romar's been going super-small and experimenting with 4- and 5-guard lineups. UW's little guys like to dribble-penetrate to the rim and challenge post defenders (i think i heard they've been hanging up 40+ ppg from the paint with their 5G offense?), so big opportunity for kaleb and bash on both ends of the court. could be a nice confidence-builder .go 'cats.

I am always prepared to be Hec'd when we go to Seattle

Huck the Fuskies.
Re: Washington game
They're slashers. Poor from distance. York and Bash should lay back on perimeter to stifle drives. We should win the glass handily.
Right where I want to be.

Blackout? That's so racist. TJ and Stanley better take note. I keed I keed (I'm a brother btw)
Re: Washington game
We need to stay out of foul trouble. We have a tendency to foul slashers. Move our feet and no hand checking.

Re: Washington game
And UW's MO, especially during the Venoy Overton days, was to commit as many fouls as possible and dare the refs to call all of them. Shower the refs with neverending "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" on even the easiest calls, and fatigue the refs into not wanting to blow the whistle yet again. Sometimes, the refs made things OK with a quick whistle on us, followed by the sarcastic Husky cheer...84Cat wrote:We need to stay out of foul trouble. We have a tendency to foul slashers. It was the same damn thing every year.
Maybe, just for once, the PAC 12 refs compulsion to whistle every touch, no matter how minor or how many the total has become or impact to the game, will actually help us here...if UW plays their usual home game style
