Its time for the conference to drop its running mate (AZ/ASSU) road trips. Spending 4 or 5 days on the toad is stupid. We also potentially lose some marquee opportunities on espn by only playing on the back of the week.
They need to adopt the more uniform one game at home then you go on the road and then it flops the other way. You could be on the road Saturday then Monday and kids would miss less class and the coaches would be home more.
Have to think coaches like Miller have to be pushing this

Re: Pac road trips
Do you mean the like acc/big 12 th percentile model where almost all of your games are on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday?

Re: Pac road trips
Counter is that it's close to a tourney prep scenario for road games. Two in a row with a day (usually) rest.
Of all the things I dislike about the Pac, this isn't huge. I'd rather get a new travel mate so that teams can't rest against ASU. Or consistent reffing.

Re: Pac road trips
Curious that the ACC plays on Saturday/Monday and the Final Four is played on Saturday/Monday.
Re: Pac road trips
I think that is a pretty good model, maybe tweek it a bit. Could have played OSU on a Saturday at Gill, flipped to washington on Monday and then had Oregon gome in Saturday and Wazzu come in Monday.ASUHATER! wrote:Do you mean the like acc/big 12 th percentile model where almost all of your games are on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday?
Then maybe go to UCLA Saturday and Cal on Monday and come back and get Furd on Saturday and USC at home on Monday. Then go to ASSU on Saturday and move to the second half.
Miss very little home or class time. You could move a closer game like in the LA area to Wednesday and come home and play Sunday
