My wife, a Mexican citizen, and I have nonrefundable tickets to fly to southern Mexico out of Tijuana next week. I have a valid passport card, but my booklet passport is expired. Anybody know if this will be a problem? Pretty much need a definitive answer-not guesses.
Thanks.

Pretty sure passport cards are only for automobile/ship travel. So you will be able to travel to the airport in Tijuana if driving, but then Mexican law takes over. Do they require a passport from one Mexican airport to another? Since you probably don't have any sort of Mexican ID card, you would probably have to show a passport.Carcassdragger wrote: Thu Oct 28, 2021 8:23 am My wife, a Mexican citizen, and I have nonrefundable tickets to fly to southern Mexico out of Tijuana next week.
